YOUTH2022 – National Days of Youth Work will be held in Jyväskylä on 26–27 April 2022. The event offers a place to network, get inspired and develop one’s expertise for as many as 2,000 youth sector professionals, decision-makers and actors.
The goal of the event is to develop expertise in the sector and enable the nationwide spread of good practices. The YOUTH2022 event increases appreciation for the youth sector and makes it more visible. It also raises key issues in the sector for public discussion. There will also be an international seminar within the YOUTH 2022 event.
The event’s local partners are the City of Jyväskylä and the city’s youth services. The YOUTH2022 event is held in a sustainable way.

YOUTH2022 – National Days of Youth Work is an event for the entire youth sector. The key elements of the two-day event are the seminar programme and the comprehensive exhibition area. The event looks at current and important topics and trends concerning youth and youth work. Attendees can look forward to lectures, workshops, panel discussions, great experiences and meeting new people.
Who is it for?
The event is intended for actors in the youth sector. Professionals, researchers, volunteers and students are all welcome. In fact, you only need to be interested in youth and the youth sector! Up to 2,000 youth sector actors from around Finland and Europe are expected to attend the event.

YOUTH2022 highlights the youth sector in public discussion and builds bridges between actors in the sector. Once a year, the event gathers together under the same roof actors in the sector to discuss shared topics of interest. Updating and expanding one’s expertise and knowledge is more important than ever. The world is changing quickly and, as youth sector professionals, we need to be experts on the new trends and topics so that we can do our work as well as possible and promote young people’s well-being that way.
YOUTH2022 offers a fantastic opportunity to develop one’s expertise, learn from peers and network – those are some great reasons to attend!
Who’s the organiser?

The coronavirus situation
We require a coronavirus passport from all participants at the YOUTH2022 event, if the coronavirus restrictions during the event otherwise prevent or hinder its organisation, and if the current legislation allows the use of a coronavirus passport as an alternative to the restrictions imposed on the event.
Please note that we will not refund the participant fee in the event that the participant is unable to present a coronavirus passport. In such cases, we will apply the event’s general cancellation policy.
